FreeRice.com - A free vocabulary game where every correct answer earns rice for starving people around the world.

KidsReads.com - Up to date info on great books for kids.

TeenReads.com - Up to date info on great books for teenagers.

America Writes for Kids - A great site to explore to find information about authors and their books, alphabetically or by state.

Children’s Book Council - For lots of good info and links.

New York Times Book Review - Reviews of lots of children’s books.

Institute of Children’s Literature - If you’re interested in how I learned the basics.

Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators - A professional organization for writers and illustrators of children's books.

Scrabulous - a fun and addicting way to exercise the old gray matter. Choose the email option to take your time and play for days! (It's a good break for your muse when you're stuck, too.)
