Author visits are great fun for me, and can be for the students at your school as well! 
THE DEEP CUTwas a crossover read for middle graders and teens, and my next book, 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS IN GEORGIA, is primarily for the younger set; so my presentations can be geared to a wide range of ages. Older kids might like to hear about the writing life or the craft of writing, while younger kids need a more active approach (like singing!). Check out me (and Elizabeth, my illustrator) at Georgia Center for the Book here.
